Long before there was a workable plan to restore Union Station, Idamay Arsenault had a deep personal passion for the building.

When the once great building was a vacant, crumbling elephant, Arsenault had a hope that one day Union Station would be restored to glory. Her research led her to discover the building's rich past and her skill as a photographer allowed her to chronicle its decrepitude and later its brilliant restoration.
